WILL THE STAINLESS STEEL BAKING PAN WARP? It's normal that the pure stainless steel pan may warp due to uneven and sudden heat. Aluminum transfers heat faster than stainless steel, so it may not warp when heated, but it would release toxic substances into the food. Stainless steel pan wouldn't and is healthier for your daily use. Generally, the pans would return to their original shape when cooled down. We suggest you may try to put the sheet into the oven BEFORE you turn it on to preheat it, which may help resist warping.
